These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Bikkel", "we", "us"), the operator of Bikkel, the training logbook available at bikkel.app and on mobile ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You need an account to use most of Bikkel. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, and able to form a binding contract, to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials and passkeys secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@bikkel.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

Bikkel is a tool for logging your own training. You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights while using the Service.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Resell, sublicense or misrepresent the Service as your own.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Bikkel is a logbook, not a medical or professional coaching service. Any programs, exercises or content are provided for general information only and are not medical advice. Training carries risk of injury — consult a qualified professional before starting a new program, and train within your limits. You use the Service and follow any training content at your own risk.

Bikkel offers a free tier and paid upgrades:

• Free — the core logbook, routines, progress and community, free for as long as you use it.
• Bikkel Pro — a €5 per month recurring subscription that unlocks advanced features. It renews automatically until cancelled.
• Bikkel Lifetime — a one-time purchase that grants Pro features for the lifetime of the product, with no recurring charge.

Prices are shown in euros and may exclude taxes, which are added where required. We may change prices for future billing periods; any change will not affect the term you have already paid for.

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, subject to their terms. For Bikkel Pro, you authorise a recurring charge at the start of each billing period, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. For Bikkel Lifetime, you authorise a single one-time charge. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file for active subscriptions.

We will make the recurring nature of Pro clear before you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time from your account settings without contacting us — see "Cancellation and refunds" below.

You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your logbook and history remain available on the free tier afterwards.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@bikkel.app and we will look into it. Statutory withdrawal or consumer rights that apply to you — including any EU / UK right of withdrawal — are unaffected by this section.

You keep all rights to the training data and content you create in Bikkel. You grant us the limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence needed to host, store, back up and display that content to you and, where you choose to share it, to others — solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to it.

The Service itself — including the Bikkel name, software, design and content we provide — belongs to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms; we reserve all rights not expressly granted.

We work to keep Bikkel available and reliable, but we provide the Service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bikkel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or training records, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

You may stop using Bikkel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example to reflect new features, or legal or regulatory changes. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Service and may close your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of [JURISDICTION / VENUE], unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
